What's Bill's Barrel?

Every preacher has a "barrel" - a collection of sermon transcripts and notes from a lifetime of preaching. When my father, Bill Newcomer, died after more than twenty years as a United Methodist pastor, I became the keeper of his barrel. This blog chronicles my reflections on the sermons I'm finding in Bill's Barrel ... and what I'm learning from those sermons about my dad, about myself, and about our faith.  The words in italics are my father's.  The words in regular type are mine.
